捷豹跨界车的开发仍在继续，最近谍照记者在纽伯格林赛道拍到了正在测试的原型车。当时该车采用了揽胜极光的车身，它采用了人们熟悉的前脸，包括突出的格栅和运动风格进气口。不过遗憾的是，从照片上不能看到什么细节，但可以看出它比极光要长很多。捷豹不愿透露该车细节，但它很可能与捷豹在去年法兰克福车展发布的C-X17概念车遵循相同的设计理念。另外该车还将与2015款XE共享新的iQ[Al]平台。现在仍无法确认该车动力系统选择，但很可能与车厂入门级轿车共享动力系统。这意味着将包括一系列四缸Ingenium引擎和一台取自F-Type的3.0升V6引擎。

 

Jaguar crossover spied on the Nurburgring

Development work continues on Jaguar's crossover as our spies have caught a prototype undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.

 

Caught wearing a modified Range Rover Evoque body, the crossover will be have a familiar front fascia with a prominent grille and sporty air intakes. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to see but the pictures reveal the model will be significantly longer than the Evoque.

 

Jaguar has been relatively coy about the model but it will likely follow in the footsteps of the C-X17 concept that was introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model is also slated to ride on the new iQ[Al] platform which will also underpin the 2015 XE.

 

Engine options remain unconfirmed but they will likely be shared with the company's entry-level sedan. This means choices could include an assortment of four-cylinder Ingenium engines and a 3.0-liter V6 from the F-Type.
