据英国媒体报道，阿斯顿马丁正在开发的全新结构将首次应用于下一代DB9。阿斯顿马丁目前的VH结构是在2001年发布的，已经过去十几年了，因此现在是到了该进行更新的时候了。据英国《Auto Express》网站报道，将于2016年发布的下一代DB9将首次采用全新结构。阿斯顿马丁将在新结构中更多采用铝制材料以降低车辆整备质量并提升刚性，同时有可能在未来调整轮距和轴距以使其能应用于其他车型。新一代DB9除了将采用全新结构外，还很可能搭载AMG提供的引擎，这也是阿斯顿马丁和奔驰合作的结果。新车或许会选择采用将于今年晚些时候发布的AMG GT搭载的4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎。同时，AMG还将负责为DB9提供变速箱和电子设备。

 

Aston Martin’s new architecture to debut in 2016 DB9

British media is reporting Aston Martin's all-new architecture will be implemented for the first time in the next-gen DB9.

 

Aston's current VH architecture has been around since 2001 so naturally time has arrived for a replacement which according to Auto Express will be seen in the next generation DB9 set to come out in 2016. Reports indicate Aston will make extensive use of aluminum to lower the car's curb weight and also improve rigidity while giving them the opportunity to play around with track width and wheelbase for other models.

 

Besides receiving a whole new architecture, the upcoming DB9 will likely be powered by an AMG engine as a result of the collaboration between the two parties. The engine of choice will probably be a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter set to debut later this year in the AMG GT. It is believed the engineers from Affalterbach will also be in charge of providing the DB9's gearbox and electrics.
