Volvo is reportedly developing a V40 Polestar, so Remco Meulendijk has created a rendering of what the model could look like.
Billed as a Volkswagen Golf R competitor, the rendering depicts a sporty hatchback with an aggressive front bumper and a front lip spoiler. The car also has gloss black accents, extended side skirts and attractive alloy wheels.
While Volvo has never officially confirmed plans for a V40 Polestar, speculation has suggested the model could use a turbocharged 2.0-liter T5 engine because it can be tuned to produce more than 272 HP (200 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
