据日本汽车杂志《Holiday Auto》报道，2015款马自达2将衍生出一款新车型以应对MINI Cooper和雪铁龙DS3。据传新车将被命名为Verisa，相对于标准版马自达2，该车外观更时尚，更高端。目前还不清楚该车细节，但据《Holiday Auto》称，马自达欧洲公司正在开发这款车，该车将比现行版Verisa略大。该报道还称，马自达还将推出一款高性能版本，它将搭载2.2升SKYACTIV-D引擎。虽然上述说法值得怀疑，但据报道，马自达将在明年日内瓦车展发布该车的概念版车型，而量产版将在2016年一季度发布。

 

2015 Mazda2 to spawn a MINI Cooper competitor

According to reports out of Japan, the 2015 Mazda2 will spawn a new model to battle the MINI Cooper and Citroen DS3.

 

Rumored to adopt the Verisa moniker, the model is being billed as a more stylish and upscale version of the Mazda2. Little else is known about the car but Holiday Auto says Mazda Europe is handling its development and it will be slightly larger than the current Verisa.

 

Sources also suggest there could be a high-performance variant with a 2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D engine.

 

We're taking everything with a grain of salt but the model will reportedly be previewed by a concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The production model is slated to arrive about a year later in the first quarter of 2016.
