第三代斯柯达晶锐将铁定亮相今年10月的巴黎车展。令很多人感到惊讶的是，下一代晶锐将仍保留现行版的内部结构并将与明锐一样采用大众MQB平台。不过，该车将采用全新外观和内装并将提供与改款Polo相同的引擎。在新车发布之初，斯柯达将提供掀背车和旅行车版本，但预计未来将重新恢复轿车版本，不过斯柯达已经有了昕锐，因此目前还不清楚晶锐轿车版在斯柯达家族中的定位。斯柯达澳大利亚总裁Michael Irmer近日表示，车厂有意拿掉RS版本而用蒙特卡洛版取而代之，虽然该车与标准版搭载相同引擎，但至少将采用更具运动风格的内外装。第三代晶锐将于今年底或明年初上市。

 

Next-gen Skoda Fabia arriving in Paris this October, sedan comeback considered

The third generation of the Skoda Fabia has been confirmed for an October debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

 

To the surprise of many, the next-gen Fabia will retain the current model's underpinnings and will not ride on Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform which was used for the Octavia. However, the car will get a whole new exterior and interior derived from latest VAG products and will be offered with just about the same engines found in the facelifted Polo.

 

Upon launch it will be available in the usual hatchback and wagon body styles but Skoda is also analyzing the prospects of bringing back the sedan although we are not sure where it will fit in the Czech automaker's lineup since they already have the Rapid.

 

Skoda Australia director Michael Irmer reconfirmed the company's intentions to drop the range-topping RS version and instead focus on the Monte Carlo editions which although come with the same engines as the standard versions, at least they feature a sportier appearance both inside and out.

 

Sales of the third-gen Skoda Fabia should kick off towards the end of the year or early 2015.
