Maserati Alfieri confirmed for production, will be offered as a coupe & cabrio

Maserati has announced plans to launch a handful of new models.

 

The first new vehicle will be the Levante crossover which was previewed by the Kubang concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Maserati didn't have much to say about the model but they confirmed it will have all-wheel drive model and a variety of engines including:

A V6 with outputs of 350 PS (257 kW) and 425 PS (312 kW)

A V8 with 560+ PS (412+ kW)

A diesel with outputs of 250 PS (184 kW), 275 PS (202 kW) and 340 PS (250 kW)

 

Shortly thereafter, Maserati will introduce the production version of the Alfieri concept. It will be offered as a coupe and convertible with rear- or all-wheel drive. Power will be provided exclusively by a V6 engine that has outputs of 410 PS (301 kW), 450 PS (331 kW) and 520 PS (382 kW).

 

Last but not least, the company will introduce a new GranTurismo. Designed to slot above the Alfieri, the model will have rear-wheel drive and a V8 engine that produces 560+ PS (412+ kW). Interestingly, there's no mention of a GranCabrio variant so it will likely be dropped.
