BMW 7-Series Exclusive Edition announced
BMW has unveiled the new 7-Series Exclusive Edition.
Set to go on sale this summer, the model is designed to combine "elegance, luxury and supreme driving pleasure."
On the styling front there isn't much to report as BMW only says the model will be equipped with metallic paint and exclusive 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
Bigger changes occur in the cabin as drivers will find themselves surrounded by Nappa leather seats and a leather-wrapped dashboard. Customers can also order an Alcantara headliner and premium Merino leather upholstery at an "attractive price."
The Exclusive Edition will be available as a short and long wheelbase model and can be equipped with any engine in the 7-Series lineup.

Next generation Jeep Wrangler getting aluminum body
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' CEO Sergio Marchionne hinted at an aluminum body for the next generation Jeep Wrangler.
At the beginning of the year we heard Sergio saying "we need to take weight out" and "we know we need to update the architecture" when talking about the next generation Jeep Wrangler set to come out in 2017 or later. Now, during the Fiat-Chrysler Investor Day press conference he said aluminum could be the way to go for the next-gen Wrangler.
Taking the aluminum route will shave off some considerable weight which could be further extended by replacing the full-size spare wheel with a smaller one positioned beneath the car. In addition, it is believed the fold-down windshield will be dropped while a power-retractable soft top will be optionally offered.
