2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe revealed. new V-Series coming next year

Cadillac has unveiled the 2015 CTS-V Coupe.

 

Essentially a last hurrah for the current CTS-V, the 2015 model is being billed as a special edition that features a dark-finish grille, red brake calipers and satin graphite wheels. It will be available exclusively in three colors including Crystal White, Phantom Gray and optional Black Diamond.

 

Interior changes are limited but the model features Recaro sport seats, red contrast stitching and a microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel. There's also Midnight Sapele wood trim and alloy pedals.

 

Power is provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 556 bhp (415 kW) and 551 lb-ft (746 Nm) of torque. It can be paired to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

 

Production will be limited to 500 units and pricing will be announced closer to the car's launch this summer.

 

Besides introducing the special edition, Cadillac confirmed the "next-generation V-Series models are in development and will premiere next year." The company didn't have much to say about them but confirmed they will "move to the next level with more dynamic design and technical sophistication."
