Rolls-Royce has fully revealed the Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection.

 

The latest special edition of the Phantom Drophead Coupe was created to highlight the numerous customization options available through Rolls-Royce's bespoke program. The vehicle is wearing an exclusive Maggiore Blue exterior paint scheme which has no less than nine layers of paint and has been extended onto the engine.

 

It has received eleven-spoke polished alloy wheels together with a hand-painted coachline and a Bluebird motif. Other features include an Abachi wood trim, a two-tone steering wheel and special armrests that require eight hours of work.

 

The special edition is also a celebration of Sir Malcolm Campbell's water speed record established in September 1937 when he hit 129.5 mph (208 km/h) with a Bluebird K3 hydroplane powered by a Rolls-Royce engine.

 

Under the hood is the standard V12 6.75-liter engine outputting 453 bhp (338 kW) and 531 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque which grants the vehicle with a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 5.6 seconds before topping out at 150 mph.

 

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection is limited to 35 units, each carrying a starting price of 435,000 GBP.
