Maserati Alfieri concept filmed in action for the first time

The stunning Maserati Alfieri concept was captured on camera by Marchettino last weekend at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.

 

Certainly one of the sexiest cars to wear Maserati's crown, the Alfieri concept is a 2+2 coupe concept originally unveiled in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The car's styling was influenced by the classic A6 GCS/54 while power is provided by a V8 4.7-liter engine outputting 466 PS (343 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque.

 

It was developed as a celebration for the brand's centenary and will receive a production version in the year to come, following the launch of the Levante crossover. The model will be sold not only as a coupe but also as a convertible with both rear- and all-wheel drive configurations. Under the hood it will pack only a V6 engine that will be offered in three states of tune: 410 PS (301 kW), 450 PS (331 kW) and 520 PS (382 kW). The first to come out will be the coupe probably in 2016 followed shortly by the convertible.
