现代美国公司发言人Derek Joyce近日透露,2015款劳恩斯轿跑车将不再提供2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎。他表示，新车将只提供3.8升V6引擎，功率259千瓦/348马力，扭矩399牛米。相对于前款入门级车型的204千瓦/274马力和372牛米有大幅提升。虽然消费者会对现代放弃提供更轻，更具燃油经济性引擎表示怀疑，但Joyce表示，此举主要是为了迎合那些追求高性能的高端消费者。这也意味着新车价格将进一步提升，但他表示新车配置也将获得提升。

 

2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe to drop the turbocharged four-cylinder engine

Hyundai Motor Ameriac spokesperson Derek Joyce has confirmed the 2015 Genesis Coupe will no longer be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

 

In an interview with Automotive News, Joyce said the car will now be offered exclusively with a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 348 bhp (259 kW) and 295 lb-ft (399 Nm) of torque. This is significantly more powerful than the former base engine which cranked out 274 bhp (204 kW) and 275 lb-ft (372 Nm) of torque.

 

While fans will undoubtedly miss the lighter and more fuel efficient four-cylinder engine, Joyce said the move will allow them to "reposition the coupe with a more premium performance buyer." This likely means the base price will shoot up but Joyce noted the packaging and equipment will revised to help offset this.
