2015 Ford Edge spied for the first time
The 2015 Ford Edge has been spied for the first time in Europe.
Previewed by a concept at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the production model has a massive three bar grille that is flanked by sweptback headlights. We can also see a sloping roofline, a dual exhaust system and distinctive taillights.
While we only get a few glimpses of the interior, the concept had a 'floating' center console and a MyFord Touch infotainment system with a 10-inch display.
Ford has been relatively tight-lipped about specifications but we wouldn't be surprised if the model is offered with a variety of EcoBoost engines. Nothing is official but likely candidates include:
A 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 240 bhp (179 kW) and 270 lb-ft (365 Nm) of torque
A 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 285 bhp (212 kW) and 305 lb-ft (413 Nm) of torque
A 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 365 bhp (272 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque
