近日国外网站刊登了X-Tomi Design绘制的宝马M2合成图,该车将于2016年初发布。目前M235i轿跑车是2系车中的顶级款，但不可能一直这样，宝马正计划推出更高端的M2，据传该车将于2015年秋季投产，将作为2016款车型上市。在仔细看过M235i之后就不难想象M2会是什么样子，而这张由X-Tomi Design绘制的合成图可以说更准确的描绘了该车外观。据最新报道，2016款M2将搭载3.0升六缸涡轮增压汽油引擎，最大功率279千瓦/380马力，比M235i增加39千瓦/54马力。因此预计该车在配备取自M235i的八速自动变速箱时百公里加速时间将不到4.8秒。

The M235i Coupe might be on top of the 2-Series range right now but it won't remain there too long as BMW is planning a fully-fledged M2 which is rumored to enter production in the fall of 2015 so it will likely end up being a 2016MY. According to the latest reports, the 2016 BMW M2 will be motivated by a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering up to 380 PS (279 kW) which would make it 54 PS (39 kW) more powerful than the M235i. As a consequence, expect the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run to be completed in less than 4.8 seconds needed by the M235i fitted with the optional 8-speed automatic gearbox.
