2015 Mitsubishi Lancer announced with modest updates

Mitsubishi has announced a series of updates for the 2015 Lancer.

 

First and foremost, the entry-level Lancer ES can be equipped with a new continuously-variable transmission which enables it to return an EPA-estimated 34 mpg highway (US). The model can also be equipped with a new Value Package that adds revised instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity and chrome interior door handles. The package also adds soft touch upper door trim, rear disc brakes and 16-inch alloy wheels.

 

The Lancer SE AWC gains additional standard equipment including a "sport" front fascia, fog lights and restyled 16-inch alloy wheels. Other highlights include revised instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity and a six-speaker audio system.

 

The Lancer GT is largely unchanged but boasts white contrast stitching on the doors and seats. The model also offers a new Sun and Sound package that includes HID headlights, a sunroof and nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate premium audio system.

 

Likewise, the Lancer Ralliart gains HID headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark finish. Other highlights include white contrast stitching and the aforementioned Rockford Fosgate premium audio system.

 

All Lancer models also feature new heated side view mirrors with integrated turn signals.
