Jeep Renegade Opening Edition leaks out early

A test page on the Jeep website has revealed plans for a Renegade Opening Edition.

 

Described as a "unique take" on the range-topping Renegade Limited, the Opening Edition has a Bright White or Omaha Orange exterior with a black roof and 18-inch aluminum wheels.

 

Interior changes are relatively limited but include orange accents and special badging. The model will also feature black leather seats, orange contrast stitching and a dual-zone climate control system. Other highlights include a digital instrument cluster and a 6.5-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.

 

The model will reportedly be available with three different engines including:

A 1.4-liter MultiAir2 four-cylinder with 138 bhp (103 kW) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque

A 1.6-liter MutliJet II turbodiesel four-cylinder with 118 bhp (88 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque

A 2.0-liter MutliJet II turbodiesel four-cylinder with 138 bhp (103 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque
