沃尔沃S80目前在中高级汽车市场影响力微乎其微,但随着新一代车型在未来两三年内发布,这一切将有所改变。沃尔沃一位高管日前表示，新一代S80将在未来两到三年内发布。新车将采用类似2015款XC90的更时尚内装。而其车身造型将借鉴车厂最近发布的Concept Coupe和Concept Estate等概念车。新车很可能采用可扩展产品架构”(Scalable Product Architecture, SPA)平台并提供各种沃尔沃VEA (Volvo Environmental Architecture沃尔沃环保架构)低油耗四缸引擎。

 

New Volvo S80 coming in two or three years

The Volvo S80 is barely a blip on the automotive radar but that could change when the third-generation model is introduced.

 

Speaking to Autocar, an unnamed Volvo executive confirmed a new S80 is due in two or three years. They declined to elaborate but confirmed the stylish interior of the 2015 XC90 will be carried over to other models including the next S80.

 

Little is known about the redesigned sedan but it will likely borrow styling cues from recent concepts such as the Concept Coupe and Concept Estate. The car will likely ride on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) and be offered with a variety of fuel-efficient Volvo Environmental Architecture (VEA) four-cylinder engines.
