Mitsubishi Shogun Barbarian announced

Mitsubishi has introduced the new Shogun Barbarian in the United Kingdom.

 

Designed to slot above the Shogun Warrior, the Shogun Barbarian features chrome mirrors, a color matching spare tire cover and two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels. The model will be available in four colors including Black Pearl, Frost White, Eiger Grey and Cool Silver.

 

Interior changes are relatively limited but the Barbarian comes nicely equipped with leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and alloy pedals. The model also boasts air conditioning and a GPS navigation system.

 

Power is provided by a 3.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that develops 197 bhp (147 kW) and 441 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque. It can be connected to a five-speed automatic or manual transmission and the latter gearbox enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 9.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 111 mph (180 km/h).

 

The Shogun Barbarian will go on sale shortly and pricing starts at ￡31,999.
