2016 Cadillac CTS-V spied at the Nurburgring

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V has been spied undergoing testing at the Nürburgring.

 

Dressed in heavy camouflage, the high-performance sedan has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille that features vertical bars. The model also has a front lip spoiler and larger air intakes. Moving further back, we can see a trunk-mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser which is flanked by a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

 

Power will likely be provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 engine. It develops 650 bhp (485 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque in the Corvette Z06 but speculation suggests it could be detuned for use in the CTS-V.

 

Cadillac has been relatively coy about the model but has previously said the CTS-V will be introduced next year and "move to the next level with [a] more dynamic design and technical sophistication."
