Chevrolet Captiva facelift spied for the first time

The Chevrolet Captiva has already been given two facelifts - in 2011 and 2013 - and it appears the company is working on yet another refreshing.

 

Recently caught by our spy photographers, this prototype has been equipped with a camouflaged front end which likely hides a new bumper and a revised grille. Unfortunately, there isn't much to see but we wouldn't be surprised if the model adopts a reworked nose that echoes the Trax.

 

Engine options remain a mystery but the current model offers a variety of options including:

A 2.2-liter diesel with outputs of 163 PS (120 kW) and 184 PS (135 kW)

A 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol with 167 PS (123 kW) and 230 Nm (169 lb-ft) of torque

A 3.0-liter V6 with 258 PS (190 kW) and 288 Nm (212 lb-ft) of torque
