宝马宣布，将从今年夏季开始，为旗下1、2、3、4系和X5进行大规模全面升级。首先，1系车中的118i将从今年7月起开始搭载新的1.5升三缸引擎，功率100千瓦/136马力，该车手动版百公里加速时间8.5秒，百公里油耗5.0-5.4升；自动版8.7秒，百公里油耗4.8-5.2升。同样从7月开始，2系轿跑车和敞篷车中的218d和225d将增加两台新的柴油引擎，功率分别为110千瓦/150马力和165千瓦/224马力。而敞篷版还将首次提供xDrive全轮驱动系统。M235i xDrive敞篷版搭载的直列六缸引擎功率为240千瓦/326马力，车辆百公里加速时间4.9秒。2系GranTourer将增加三台引擎，其中216i搭载的三缸汽油引擎功率75千瓦/102马力；214d搭载的三缸柴油引擎功率70千瓦/95马力；220d搭载的四缸柴油引擎功率140千瓦/190马力。从今年夏季起，3系、4系和X5将搭载新的四缸柴油引擎，其中318d Gran Turismo的功率提升5千瓦/7马力至110千瓦/150马力，而320d GranTurismo功率提升至140千瓦/190马力。而420d敞篷版将搭载功率190马力柴油引擎，418d Gran Coupe将搭载功率150马力柴油引擎。而从8月开始，X5 sDrive25d和X5 xDrive25d两款车将搭载动力更强劲四缸柴油引擎，功率提升至170千瓦/231马力，扭矩500牛米，车辆百公里加速时间7.7秒。其他升级包括：3系和4系配备新一代泊车辅助和导航系统，Z4采用新的车身涂装并可将用户手册下载至车主手机上。

 

BMW 1-Series, 2-Series, 3-Series, 4-Series and X5 get new engines, upgrades for other models

BMW has announced a massive model upgrade that will be effective from the summer of this year.

 

Starting with the 1-Series, it will be getting a three-cylinder 1.5-liter engine for the 118i version from July 2015. With power of 136 PS (100 kW) it will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.5 seconds (8.7 seconds with automatic) and return a combined fuel consumption of 5.0-5.4 l/100 km (4.8-5.2 for the auto).

Again from July, the 2-Series Coupe and Convertible will receive two new diesel engines for the 218d (150 PS/110 kW) and 225d (224 PS/165 kW), while the open-top version will be available with an xDrive all-wheel drive system for the first time. The M235i xDrive Convertible has a 326 PS (240 kW) straight six-cylinder engine, which can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.9 seconds.

 

The 2-Series GranTourer modification will benefit from three new engines – a three-cylinder petrol unit with 102 PS (75 kW) for the 216i, a three-cylinder diesel engine with 95 PS (70 kW) in the 214d and a four-cylinder diesel power unit with 190 PS (140 kW) in the 220d.

 

From the summer of 2015 many BMW 3-Series and 4-Series models, as well as the X5 will also profit from a new generation change of four-cylinder diesel engines. A 7 PS (5 kW) power increase to 150 PS (110 kW) and 190 PS (140 kW) is now available for the 318d Gran Turismo and the BMW 320d GranTurismo respectively. As from July 2015, the same 190 PS diesel engine will also power the BMW 420d Convertible, while the 418d Gran Coupe will get the 150 PS engine.

 

The most powerful representative of the new generation of four-cylinder diesel engines will make its debut in the Sports Activity Vehicle segment in August 2015. A 231 PS (170 kW) and 500 Nm version of the unit will be offered for the X5 in the sDrive25d and xDrive25d versions, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 7.7 seconds.

 

Other improvements include a new generation parking assistant and navigation system for the 3-Series and 4-Series, new exterior colors for the Z4 and a downloadable owner’s manual as a smartphone app.
