Bentley Bentayga spied virtually undisguised
Bentley is putting the finishing touches on their upcoming Bentayga as our spies have caught a prototype virtually undisguised.
Previewed by the EXP 9 F concept, the production model features a prominent grille which is flanked by the company's familiar quad headlights. The crossover also features a front skid plate, plastic body cladding and roof rails. Other notable highlights include a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system.
While the exterior styling won't win everyone over, the cabin will be undeniably luxurious as it features a digital instrument cluster, wood trim and metallic accents. The model will also have premium leather upholstery, touch-sensitive controls and an assortment of high-end options.
Performance specifications remain a mystery but the crossover is expected to be offered with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine as well as a new twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 TSI that produces 608 PS (600 bhp / 447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. We can also expect a plug-in hybrid variant in 2017.
