BMW unleashes M235i Track Edition in the Netherlands

BMW Holland has introduced a limited series M235i Track Edition.

 

The high-performance model will be produced in a run of only 12 copies and will be available exclusively on the car market in the Netherlands. The Track Edition series offers a full M Performance bodykit with a prominent splitter, new bootlid spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, etc. Also included is a set of 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

 

The interior comes nicely equipped with an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, featuring a race display. Also installed are leather sports seats and stainless steel pedals.

 

No mechanical improvements are available, as power is still provided by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, generating 326 PS (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Mated to an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, this unit provides a 0-100 km/h (062 mph) sprint in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

 

BMW will produce only 12 copies of the Track Edition, which will be available at a yet undisclosed price.
