MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition launched with 208 HP

MINI USA has introduced the Cooper S Carbon Edition special model that will be available from 36,250 USD.

 

First of all, the car is equipped with the John Cooper Works Pro Tuning Kit that increases the standard output of the engine from 189 HP (139 kW) to 208 HP (153 kW) and delivers “superb responsiveness” thanks to reduced exhaust gas back pressure and an engine software update.

 

The manufacturer has also installed the JCW valve exhaust system that offers two modes – Track and Sport, controlled remotely via Bluetooth controller. In terms of design, the four-door vehicle gets Midnight Black metallic paint with matte black stripes, carbon fiber mirror caps, air intake trim and tailpipe finishers. These are combined with the JCW Exterior Package that includes rear spoiler and 17-inch JCW Track Spoke Black wheels.

 

Inside the cabin we find an 8.8-inch high-resolution screen with navigation system and enhanced Bluetooth and audio streaming, JCW steering wheel, sunroof, heated sports seats, center armrest and Harman/Kardon premium sound system.

 

Prices for the MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition start at 36,250 USD for the version with manual transmission and at 37,750 USD for the automatic.
