起亚近日宣布，即将上市的2016款K900将增加一款搭载新的3.8升V6引擎入门级车型。这台引擎的功率为231千瓦/311马力，扭矩396牛米，搭配的八速自动变速器将动力传递至后轮。车辆城市/高速/综合油耗为17/26/20英里/加仑（百公里油耗约合13.83/9.04/11.76升）。除了增加新引擎，2016款K900外观也进行了调整，采用了改款格栅，新的后保险杠和改款排气尾管，新的尾灯组，车身增加了镀铬装饰并提供改款18/19英寸合金轮圈。另外，当智能钥匙接近行李箱盖时，智能行李箱盖可在3秒内自动打开。车厢内变化不大，导航系统获得提升，集成了9.2英寸显示屏。该车还配备UVO Luxury Services，可以让车主通过智能手机下载的UVO软件遥控启动/关闭引擎，开启空调，上锁/解锁车门。入门级K900在美国市场起价4.9万美元31.31万元），而搭载V8引擎的车型起价为6.19万美元（约合人民币39.55万元）。

 

2016 Kia K900 gains a new entry-level variant with a V6 engine

Kia has announced the 2016 K900 will be offered with a new 3.8-liter V6 engine in the United States.

 

Set to go on sale shortly, the new entry-level variant has 311 bhp (231 kW) and 293 lb-ft (396 Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. In terms of efficiency, the model returns 17 mpg city / 26 mpg highway / 20 mpg combined.

 

Besides the new engine, the 2016 K900 features a number of styling tweaks including a revised grille, a new rear bumper and modified tailpipes. The car also has new taillights, additional chrome trim and restyled 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels. Lastly, there's a new Smart Power Trunk that automatically opens when the key fob is sensed near the deck lid for more than three seconds.

 

The interior largely carries over but there's an improved navigation system with a 9.2-inch display. The model also features new UVO Luxury Services which will enable owners to remotely start/stop the engine, control the climate control system and lock/unlock doors via the UVO app on their smartphone.

 

The entry-level K900 will be priced from $49,000 which makes it significantly cheaper than the 2015 model that started at $54,500. Unfortunately, getting V8 performance won't come cheap as that particular variant now starts at $61,900.
