塔塔近日发布了新款Zica两张官图，该车将于明年初上市，该车在印度市场将替代Indica。该车在本土市场面临的竞争车型包括雪佛兰Beat，铃木Celerio和现代i10。由于该车采用的是升级版Indica平台，因此不能算全新车型。塔塔这次没有发布该车内装图片，但从先前拍到的谍照看，该车采用了前后电动车窗，三辐方向盘，车门镀铬装饰。预计该车入门级车型将提供前排双气囊，2-DIN音响系统，后窗雨刷，ABS和EBD。而高端版本将提供合金轮圈，雾灯，倒车传感器，侧后视镜集成转向灯和可按60:40比例放平后排座椅。该车动力系统为一台新开发的1.2升三缸汽油引擎和1.0升柴油引擎，而后者很可能就是塔塔1.4升柴油引擎的低功率版本。与引擎搭配的是手动变速器，可选装自动变速器。

 

Tata Zica first official images published

Tata Motors has released two images with its new Zica model set to go on sale at the beginning of next year.

 

Previously referred to as the Tata Kite, the Zica gets its name from “Zippy Car” and will replace the Indica in India’s passenger car market. It will go up against segment rivals such as the Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, and the Hyundai i10. This isn’t actually an all-new model as it uses an updated version of the Indica’s platform, a model that will likely continue to be sold in the commercial car segment.

 

Reports from India are suggesting the vehicle will receive a newly developed 3-cylinder, 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a more economical 1.05-liter diesel. The latter will likely be a downsized version of Tata’s 1.4-liter mill and both of them will work with a standard manual gearbox or an optional automated manual transmission.

 

Official images of the interior are not available at this point, but spy shots from India have shown a basic cabin with front & rear electric windows, three-spoke steering wheel, and chrome accents on the doors. The Tata Zica is expected to get dual front airbags, 2-DIN audio system, rear wiper with washer, and ABS with EBD. The upper-spec models will benefit from alloy wheels, front fog lamps, rear parking sensors, turn signals integrated in the side mirrors, along with a 60:40-split folding rear bench featuring headrests.

 

Production of the Tata Zica will take place at the company’s factory in Sanand, Gujarat.
