2015/12/14 8:58:14

Koenigsegg Utagera concept designed by 15-year-old on display in Thailand
Brought to you by a very talented 15-year-old, the Koenigsegg Utagera is a stunning design concept currently on display at the Thailand International Motor Expo in Bangkok.

The creator’s name is Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa (aka VanaticalDesign) and he was responsible for the Aston Martin DB11 and Koenigsegg Legera design studies from a few months ago. Now, he’s back with another project and this one is envisioned as a replacement for the Agera. The Utagera (“terminate” in Swedish) is being exhibited as a scale model built by California-based N2A Motors.

It remains faithful to Koenigsegg’s design language, but dials the sleekness level up a notch as the author prioritized smoothness and elegance over raw aggressiveness. He sees the supercar with a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering up to 1,000 bhp (746 kW) without any electrical assistance.

The Utagera is Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa’s most complex project so far as he worked on the design concept for three months. Moreover, it’s the first time when his work is actually being physically exhibited at a public event. With such an impressive design concept, this young man is certainly going places and we won’t be too surprised if he will be snatched up by an automaker in the years to come.
