宝马X1长轴距版专利图已经现身国家专利局，最近专利图在网上曝光，新车将在明年上市。从图片看，长轴距版与五座标准版的最主要区别是轴距进一步增加，后门明显更长，车窗更大，车厢内采光更好。虽然增加了第三排两个座椅，但空间有限，尤其是头部空间更局促，因此第三排座椅更适合孩子坐。该车将与标准版X1共享UKL平台，可提供一系列三缸和四缸汽油和柴油引擎以及插电混动系统。该车仍标配前驱，但搭载大功率引擎的车型可选装xDrive全驱系统。X1标准版轴距为2670毫米，而长轴距版的轴距至少增加100毫米。不过在搭乘了七名乘客之后，行李箱空间将非常小，但宝马认为，选择X1的消费者不会将后排储物容积作为主要诉求。宝马将在未来几个月内发布该车，随后将于明年中期上市。目前还不清楚X1长轴距版将销往世界其他市场还是仅在中国销售。

 

BMW X1 long wheelbase leaks via patent images

The BMW X1 has hit the Chinese patent office in long wheelbase guise and this gives us a chance to have an early look ahead of the model’s 2016 launch.

 

There aren’t any surprises in terms of design as the main difference between the standard five-seater and this new version is the stretched wheelbase. The rear doors are significantly longer and come with bigger windows to let more light inside the cabin that can accommodate an extra two rear seats. However, there’s not going to be a lot of room available on that third row since headroom will be limited, so most likely the seats will be suitable mostly for kids.

 

The vehicle will ride on the same UKL platform as the standard X1 and will be offered with an assortment of three- and four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines along with a plug-in hybrid setup. Front-wheel drive is going to be standard, but the beefier engines will be optionally paired to an xDrive arrangement.

 

While the regular model has a wheelbase measuring 105.1 inches (2,670 mm), the seven-seater will likely be elongated by at least 4 inches (100 mm) to free up cabin room. With all the seven seats in place, the cargo capacity will be very limited given the car’s small size, but BMW believes that won’t be a deal breaker for people in the market for this SAV.

 

An official reveal is expected to occur in the following months, so it should go on sale by mid-2016. It will be interesting to see whether BMW is going to sell the seven-seater X1 all over the world or it will be a China-only model.
