现代近日透露，计划在未来几年推出一款全新氢燃料车型。现代汽车燃料电池研究负责人Sae-Hoon Kim表示，现代正在开发续航里程达到500英里（约合804公里），时速110英里（约合177公里）氢燃料车。相对于ix35 Fuel Cell的续航里程594公里，时速160公里，这两个数值有了很大提升。不过，现代没有透露这款车将于何时上市，不过很可能会在2020年底，因为起亚已经证实将于2020年底推出自己的燃料电池车。该车续航里程497英里（约合800公里），最高时速170公里。目前起亚正与超过300个不同的合作伙伴开发这款车，起亚承诺这将是一款“拥有很高创新水平的高质量车型”。

 

Hyundai developing new hydrogen vehicle with 500-mile range

Hyundai has disclosed plans to launch in the years to come a brand new hydrogen vehicle.

 

Whatever it will be, Sae-Hoon Kim, Hyundai-Kia’s head of hydrogen fuel cell research, suggested a maximum range of 500 miles (804 km) and a 110-mph top speed are realistic targets. These two figures would represent significant improvements over the ix35 Fuel Cell which can cover 369 miles (594 km) and do 100 mph (160 kph).

 

Hyundai isn’t saying exactly when the new model will go on sale, but it will likely be around the end of the decade as Kia has confirmed a fuel-cell vehicle is due in 2020. That one has a targeted range of more than 497 miles (800 km) and a 105-mph (170 kph) top speed. It’s being developed with no less than 300 different partners and Kia promises it will be a “high quality with levels of innovation.”
