
现代旗下Genesis品牌近日正式在北美车展发布了雅科仕替代车型G90美规车型。现代希望借助这款车能在全尺寸豪华车市场与其他同级车型竞争。该车轴距比雅科仕增加了4.5英寸(约合11.43厘米)。工程人员利用额外增加的隔音材料来大幅降低了车辆的噪音和振动水平。2017款G90将只提供两种引擎,第一台是新开发的3.3升V6双涡轮增压引擎,功率365马力@6000转/分,扭矩376磅-英尺(约合509牛米)@1300转/分;另一台是5.0升V8自然进气引擎,功率420马力@6000转/分,扭矩383磅-英尺(约合519牛米)@5000转/分。该车标配后驱,但顶级款可选装H-TRAC全驱系统。无论何种引擎,都只搭配八速自动变速器。虽然在外观上,新车与老款雅科仕并没有明显差异,但内装豪华很多。包括信息娱乐系统集成的12.3英寸显示屏,22向电控可调驾驶员座椅,17声道Lexicon音响及低音炮。另外还有一大堆安全和辅助驾驶系统,包括行人监测、倒车侧方盲点监视器、车道保持辅助等。这款车的标配还包括LED前大灯、抬头显示器、不同规格后排座椅,后排娱乐系统带9.2英寸双显示屏。G90会对奔驰S级、宝马7系和奥迪A8形成冲击吗?或许会,但至少现在还不会。不过,对于消费者来说,对一个选择也不是坏事。对于Genesis品牌而言,G90只是一个开始,未来五年还将推出更多车型。
2017 Genesis G90 arrives in Detroit to take on premium segment
The Genesis brand has officially arrived in North America as Hyundai’s premium marque is currently exhibiting the Equus-replacing G90 in Detroit.
Hyundai is trying to compete with the big boys in the fullsize luxury segment with the G90 which is more than just a facelift for the Equus. For starters, the wheelbase has been stretched by a significant 4.5 inches (11.4 centimeters) and the engineers significantly reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) levels by using extra sound-deadening material.
The 2017 US-spec Genesis G90 will be available with a selection of only two engines. The first one is a newly developed biturbo 3.3-liter V6 developing 365 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 376 pound-feet of torque from 1,300 rpm. The other motor is a larger naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 pushing out 420 hp at 6,000 rpm and 383 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm. Rear-wheel drive is going to be standard, but Genesis will also sell its range-topper with an optional H-TRAC all-wheel drive system. Regardless of engine choice, the model will be available exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
While the exterior is not a significant departure from the outgoing Equus, the cabin is where Genesis showed its expertise by implementing a lot of luxury appointments. It has basically everything that you could think of, from a 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment system to a 22-way electronically-controlled power driver's seat. There’s also a 17-speaker Lexicon sound system with a subwoofer, along with a plethora of safety & assistance systems like Pedestrian Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Alert, and Lane Keep Assist, just to name a few. The list goes on with full LED headlights, head-up display, and multiple configurations for the rear seats, along with a rear-seat entertainment system featuring dual 9.2-inch screens.
Will the Genesis G90 really have an impact on Mercedes S Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8 sales? Probably not, but it’s really not a bad first-time effort. It’s only the tip of the iceberg for the Genesis brand as five more models will be out within the next five years.
