Our colleagues from Autoblog have managed to find out Pagani will unleash the hardcore Huayra in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

 

Getting back to the hardcore Huayra, we already know it will receive the “BC” suffix, but it’s unclear at this point what those letters actually mean. Like one of our readers suggested, it could stand for “bare carbon.” If that’s the case, expect the model to lose a substantial amount of weight compared to the current 3,064 lbs (1,390 kg).

 

Naming aside, the newest Pagani supercar will probably use an evolution of the biturbo 6.0-liter V12 AMG engine which has 730 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque in the regular model. The latter runs the sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 3.3 seconds and tops out at 230 mph (370 kph), so expect these numbers to improve even further.

 

Perhaps Pagani will be kind enough to reveal the Huayra BC online in February before bringing it to Geneva. The original plan was to show the Huayra Roadster alongside the BC, but the company changed its mind and will introduce the open-top derivative later this year.
