最近谍照记者在斯堪的纳维亚半岛拍到了首次进行测试的新一代宝马3系G20。这辆早期原型车采用了临时的前大灯和尾灯组附加在车身上。这辆原型车仍保留了与现行版一样的车身比例，但隐藏在车身下面的是CLAR平台，因此车重将降低。新一代3系内部结构与7系车和新一代5系车共享。不过，新一代3系车重降幅不会像新一代7系和5系车那么明显，虽然如此，车重降低总是受欢迎的。从车尾的双排气尾管判断，这辆原型车应该是340i。新一代3系将搭载升级版的四缸和六缸引擎，同时还将提供插电混动版。而新一代M3将在标准版之后发布，该车很可能搭载升级版的3.0升六缸涡轮增压引擎。宝马或许会在明年9月开幕的法兰克福车展发布新一代3系，新车将作为2018款车型上市。

 

2018 BMW 3 Series says hello from Scandinavia

The all-new BMW 3 Series G20 has been spotted once again and this time it was undergoing preliminary testing in Scandinavia.

 

We are dealing with an early prototype featuring provisional headlights and taillights attached to a body that clearly doesn’t have all the production pieces. The proportions of the car have remained pretty much the same compared to the current model, but hiding underneath the skin is the CLAR platform that will bring a healthy weight loss.

 

It’s the same architecture that has underpinned the 7 Series and will also serve as foundation for the upcoming 5 Series. However, the weight loss won’t be as significant compared to its two larger brothers, but even so it’s a more than welcomed diet.

 

Judging by the dual exhaust tips, this could be a prototype based on the 340i model, but with these early prototypes you never know for sure. An upgraded lineup of four- and six-cylinder engines will be offered and at least one plug-in hybrid derivative will be part of the family. A new M3 will join the range at some point after the standard model’s arrival and will likely be powered by an evolution of today’s turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine.

 

BMW will probably decide to introduce the all-new 3 Series in the second half of 2017 as a 2018 model year. A possible venue for an official reveal is the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show set to take place in September next year.
