Aston Martin DB11 spied inside & out

The debate still rages on about the legitimately of yesterday's undisguised photo of the Aston Martin DB11 but our spy photographers are filling in the pieces as they have managed to catch the model up close.

 

Snapped undergoing testing in the United Kingdom, the DB11 is a luxurious sports cars that features a prominent grille and slender LED headlights. The model also has a ventilated hood, aerodynamic side skirts, and lightweight alloy wheels that are backed up by a high-performance braking system. A closer inspection also reveals front fender vents, a dual exhaust system, and a long sloping roof.

 

The interior photos come from an earlier prototype which was caught in Scandinavia last week. The interior is far from production ready but it features a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment system. The prototype has also been equipped with an assortment of Mercedes-sourced components including a three-spoke steering wheel, a Comand controller, and climate control switchgear.

 

Aston Martin is keeping details under wraps but the company has already confirmed the DB11 will be powered by a biturbo 5.2-liter V12 engine. The engine is expected to produce approximately 600 horsepower which would make it more powerful than the naturally-aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine that was used in the DB9.
