Renault Scenic leaks out early

The Renault Scenic has been given an early unveiling as the Geneva Motor Show has accidentally posted a picture of the model.

 

While the image was quickly removed, it was too late as a number of different people were able to download the picture before it was taken down. As a result, we can see the Scenic will feature a stylish design inspired by the R-Space concept.

 

Starting up front, there's an expressive fascia with a slender grille and a prominent Renault badge. The model also has a sculpted hood, distinctive body work, and a unique shoulder line. Other highlights include a gloss black upper body, chrome accents, and stylish two-tone alloy wheels.

 

The upscale styling will likely continue in the cabin as the Scenic is slated to feature higher quality materials and a modern design. Nothing is official but the hatchback is expected to have a new R-Link 2 infotainment system with an 8.7-inch display.

 

Since the model will ride on the same CMF platform that underpins the Megane, engine options will likely be shared between the two models. Choices remain unconfirmed but the Megane is available with an assortment of petrol and diesel units that produce between 90-205 horsepower.
