沃尔沃近日在日内瓦车展发布了S90轿车顶级款S90 T8，该车采用白色车身，内部配备T8 Twin Engine混动系统和全驱系统。前者包括一台2.0升四缸机械增压引擎，一台电机（用于驱动后轮）和9.2千瓦时锂电池，综合功率299千瓦/407马力，扭矩640牛米，搭配八速自动变速器。如果觉得功率还不够强劲，可以等待Polestar版本，不过车厂已经表示，S90和V90不会搭载更大引擎。相反，车厂还暗示，未来有可能推出包括三缸引擎的混动车型。S90和V90这两款车将作为2017款车型于今年晚些时候上市。

 

Volvo S90 T8 in Geneva looks pretty in white

The V90 estate is Volvo’s big debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but the S90 sedan is still catching a lot of attention with its lovely design.

 

The all-new S90 midsize premium sedan is not celebrating its world premiere in Geneva as the model was originally unveiled in January at the Detroit Auto Show. However, it’s worth sharing more live pics of the car, especially in this white color which suits the S90 quite nicely. As you would expect to see at an auto show, Volvo brought the range-topping T8 Twin Engine version which has a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive.

 

Hiding underneath the elegant hood is a turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine that works together with an electric motor which drives the rear axle. The hardware arrangement also includes an eight-speed automatic transmission and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 9.2 kWh.

 

It has a combined output of 407 horsepower (299 kilowatts) and 472 pound-feet (640 newton meters) of torque. Those in need of something more powerful will have to wait for the Polestar version, but keep in mind Volvo has already said the S90 and V90 won’t get bigger engines. As a matter of fact, the Swedes have dropped a hint about the possibility of installing a hybridized three-cylinder engine at some point in the future.

 

Both the S90 and V90 are slated to go on sale later this year and will arrive in United States as 2017MY.
