Skoda Superb GreenLine revealed with more than 1,780 km on a single tank

Skoda has introduced the Superb GreenLine model that will make its world premiere during the 2015 IAA in mid-September.

 

Featuring a 1.6-liter TDI diesel engine with 120 PS (88 kW), the vehicle has an average fuel consumption of 3.7 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of just 95 g/km (hatchback version). The Superb GreenLine can travel for more than 1,780 km on a single tank.

 

The car is equipped with a manual six-speed gearbox and, just as the engines in the standard Superb, with a start-stop system and brake energy recovery. Additional features of the new GreenLine version include longer gear ratios, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and aerodynamically retuned body, chassis and underbody. These adjustments contribute to improved aerodynamics for the Superb GreenLine models, giving it a lower drag coefficient of 0.263 (hatch) and 0.275 (estate).
