据外媒报道，大众将于2018年初发布Up GTI。由于该车将在美国以外市场推出，因此动力系统很可能是一台重新调校的1.0升三缸TSI引擎，功率85千瓦/114马力。虽然看起来好像没什么，但这台整备质量仅为880公斤的小车手动版百公里加速时间仅需8.8秒，目前还不清楚自动版加速性能。与高尔夫GTI一样，这款Up GTI外观也将获得提升以便与提升的性能相配。该车内外装都将与标准版有多处不同，增加了运动座椅/方向盘/踏板。车身和格栅增加红色装饰。这已经不是大众第一次表示将推出高性能版Up，但却是首次证实该车将投产。

 

VW will introduce Up GTI pocket rocket in 2018

According to AutoExpress, the Up GTI will make its debut early in 2018. Since it will be limited to markets outside of the U.S., power will come courtesy of a tuned 1.0-liter 3-cylinder TSI with as much as 114 horsepower (85 kilowatts) on tap. Though it may not sound like much, its 880-kilogram (1,940-pound) curb weight will allow for a 0-62 mph (100 kmh) run of around 8.8 seconds with a manual gearbox equipped. No word on whether an automatic will be offered as well.

 

Similar to the Golf, the Up GTI will improve upon looks as much as it does performance. Introducing a number of distinctive features inside and out, additions like sport seats, a sport steering wheel, and sport pedals will carry over. Not to mention the signature use of red accenting on the exterior and grille that we've all grown to love.

 

But this isn’t the first time VW has proposed a hotter Up – it’s just the first time it’s been confirmed for production.
