Lamborghini has quietly unveiled the Gallardo LP550-2 MLE (Malaysia Limited Edition).

Jointly developed with the company's Malaysian importer, the special edition features a Superleggera 570-4 body kit that includes an aggressive front bumper, carbon fiber mirrors and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. It will be available in three colors: Bianco Monocerus (solid white), Verde Ithaca (pearl green) and Arancio Borealis (pearl orange).

Like the standard model, the MLE is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp) and 540 Nm (397 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an e.gear transmission which should enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

Production will be limited to 20 units and they will be offered exclusively in Malaysia.
