最近谍照记者拍到了一组最新的奔驰ML轿跑车(即MLC)照片。自从1997年以来，ML一直是M级唯一一款车型，而这一切将在明年改变，ML轿跑车将加入进来，而其概念版车型Concept Coupe SUV刚刚在4月的北京车展亮相。这并不是一款真正的轿跑车，奔驰推出该车主要是未来应对宝马X6，同时为了应对X6 M也将推出AMG版本。这辆原型车的伪装略少，能让人看到更显粗壮的尾部，而第二代宝马X6通过延长尾部解决了这个问题。这款一半跨界车，一半轿跑车的MLC与ML共享同一平台，因此两车动力系统也一样，包括AMG版本搭载的5.5升V8双涡轮增压引擎，功率386千瓦/525马力，扭矩699牛米。预计标准版将在明年1月北美车展首次亮相，随后将于三季度上市，几个月后发布AMG版本。

 

Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe spied with slightly less camouflage

Our spies have sent us a fresh batch of pics with the Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe (aka MLC).

 

The ML has been the sole member of the M-Class since 1997 but next year it will be joined by this ML Coupe which was previewed by Mercedes-Benz in April at the Beijing Motor Show with the Concept Coupe SUV. Far from being a true coupe, the ML Coupe / MLC will be Daimler's answer to the BMW X6 and will compete with the Bavarian product on all fronts as there will also be an AMG version to tackle the X6 M.

 

Seen here is a prototype wearing slightly less camouflage which gives us the chance to take a closer look at the rather bulky rear end, a problem which BMW corrected to some extent with the second-gen X6.

The half crossover / half coupe will ride on the ML's platform so it will carry over just about the same engines, including the twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter rated at 525 PS (386 kW) and 699 Nm (516 lb-ft) which will power the ML 63 AMG Coupe.

 

Expect the standard model to be showcased in January 2015 at NAIAS in Detroit with sales to commence in the third quarter of the year, followed a few months later by the AMG derivative.
