近日谍照记者首次拍到了下一代MINI Countryman照片,从照片看,新车的车身更大。MINI刚刚在几个月前的纽约车展发布了2015款Countryman改款车，现在又忙着对下一代车型进行初步测试。该车将作为2017款车型于2016年发布，新车比现行版更大，或许将成为MINI家族中最大车型。该车采用UKL前驱平台但可以兼容全驱布局，由于宝马与麦格纳-斯太尔的合同于2016年终止，因此该车不再由麦格纳-斯太尔生产。无论是Countryman还是Paceman都将转移到英国牛津和荷兰VDL NedCar工厂生产。

 

Next-gen MINI Countryman makes spy photo debut

The next generation MINI Countryman has been spied for the very first time, showing a considerably larger body.

 

It was only several months ago when MINI brought the facelifted 2015 Countryman to the New York Auto Show and now our spies have caught on camera the next generation model conducting preliminary testing. Programmed to come out in 2016 likely as a 2017 model year, the all-new Countryman appears to be bigger and it will probably end up being the largest MINI ever.

 

The model is set to ride on the UKL1 front-wheel drive platform adapted for an AWD layout and won't be produced by Magna Steyr in Graz as a report issued by Automotive News at the beginning of the year said BMW will end the contract with Austrian manufacturer Magna Steyr in 2016. Assembly of the Countryman (and Paceman) will be moved to Oxford, UK and Born, The Netherlands at the VDL NedCar factory where production of the all-new MINI started in July.
