Volkswagen Fox Pepper concept unveiled
Volkswagen has unveiled the Fox Pepper concept, ahead of its debut at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.
Described as "sporty and youthful," the Fox Pepper has a Red Tornado exterior with a new front bumper and plastic body cladding. The concept has also been equipped with honeycomb grille inserts, a black roof and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Interior pictures were not released but Volkswagen says the cabin has two-tone leather seats, red air vents and "Fox Pepper" badging. The concept also features an infotainment system with a 5.5-inch display and GPS navigation.
Power is provided by a 1.6-liter engine that develops up to 120 bhp (89 kW) when running on ethanol. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in as little 9.8 seconds before topping out at 189 km/h (117 mph).
