2015 Toyota Prius v facelift unveiled in L.A.

Toyota has introduced the 2015 Prius v at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

 

Looking more aggressive than its predecessor, the facelifted model adopts a new front bumper, a revised grille and restyled headlights. The car also has a revised color palette with several new additions including Attitude Black Metallic, Absolutely Red and Toasted Walnut Pearl.

 

Interior changes are limited but include a newly available 8-way power driver’s seat (with power lumbar support) and an Entune infotainment system with a 6.1-inch display. Higher-end variants also receive a 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster which shows everything from climate control settings to navigation information.

 

The Hybrid Synergy Drive system carries over and consists of a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle engine and an electric motor. It produces a combined maximum output of 136 hp (100 kW) and allows the model to return an EPA estimated 44 mpg city / 40 mpg highway (US).
